We are in the midst of challenging times during the global outbreak of COVID-19, and we at Circle are doing all we can to make the health and safety of our volunteers, patrons, performers, and staff our top priority. 
Circle Theatre is a summer theatre that performs and works on the campus of Aquinas College. In order to do their part to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Aquinas College has made some difficult decisions that effect Circle Theatre for the remainder of this spring semester. Per the College and in line with CDC guidelines announced earlier this week, events that consist of 50 people or more will be evaluated and/or canceled through May 10.

We are so fortunate to be a part of a creative community that raises spirits, brings joy, and provides distraction during challenging, uncertain times through the magic of live theatre. In line with CDC guidelines announced earlier this week, events that consist of 50 people or more will be evaluated and/or canceled through May 10. To protect the health and well-being of our volunteers, patrons, performers, and staff, Circle Theatre has cancelled Disaster!, originally scheduled for May 7-9 | 13-17 | 20-23, for the 2020 season.

This Season Kickoff Event and Fundraiser scheduled to take place on Friday, April 17th, has been postponed. When a new date is selected in the 2020 calendar year, you will be among the first to know. All individuals who have tickets for the event will be contacted via email with more information.


The Circle Presents shows for the rest of the 2020 season have been cancelled due to Michigan school closings.

To ensure the health and safety of our patrons, staff, and volunteers, we will no longer be taking walk-ins at the Box Office. Our Box Office team will still be available over email and by phone for any of your ticketing questions.

Auditions for the Summer Concert Series will take place March 13 and 14 as originally scheduled.

We want to give everyone peace of mind that we are doing everything we can to make this small, intimate audition experience safe and comfortable for all. Walk-up auditioners are welcome; more information can be found here.


Auditions for American Graffiti In Concert will take place at a later date. Please check back with us on circletheatre.org and on social media for future dates. 


If you are not feeling well please stay home, take care of yourself, and contact your STAGE MANAGER if you need to miss a rehearsal. Your DIRECTOR and STAGE MANAGER will move forward accordingly. 


Rehearsals will go on as scheduled and performers will be contacted by their Stage Managers regarding any changes. 


Performers can pick up their scripts from the Box Office during regular Box Office hours, Monday – Friday, 12pm-5pm.
